Terms & Conditions

Before we get to the fun part we need to go through a few T's & C's to not only keep you safe but also look after our team and equipment. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to us

Using a Bike

Do you know the rules?

By booking a bike service, hire and/or tour, you confirm that:

  • You accept the fact that riding a bike carries a degree of risk of injury and agree to enter this hire period and/or tour at my own risk

  • You are in good physical condition and have no medical complaint, impairment or ailment which would affect the safe operation of hired equipment

  • You accept the responsibility to operate the rental bike in a manner appropriate to the road and weather conditions

  • You agree to wear a helmet and other appropriate protective clothing during the hire period and/or tour

  • You know the relevant road rules and agree to practice safe cycling during the hire period and/or tour

  • You know how to operate a multi-speed bike

  • You accept responsibility for any hire equipment provided to you during the hire period and/or tour and will pay for any damages or theft of hire equipment

  • You acknowledge and agree that Parramatta Bike Tours has the right at any time to retake possession of the hire equipment. 

  • You acknowledge and agree that in the case of improper use, Parramatta Bike Tours has the right to retake possession of the hired equipment without the provision of a refund. 

  • You are over the age of 18 or will be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 18 for the duration of the hire period and/or tour.

Conduct

Kindness and inclusivity

By booking a bike service, hire and/or tour, you confirm that:

  • You acknowledge that we are a safe and inclusive space for all, including but not limited to people who identify as LGBTQIA+, Indigenous Australians and the CALD community

  • You agree whilst engaging in the Parramatta Bike Tours space, both in-person and online, to be respectful to the Parramatta Bike Tours team, their business partners and other customers. 

  • You acknowledge that Parramatta Bike Tours has the right to cancel your booking without the offer of a refund and/or ask you to leave the Parramatta Bike Tours space if your behaviour is deemed disrespectful or harmful to others engaging within this space.

  • You acknowledge that whilst engaging with Parramatta Bike Tours, the team will do their absolute best to ensure that you feel safe and welcomed in the space

Photography

Let's capture some memories!

By booking a bike service, hire and/or tour, you confirm that:

  • You acknowledge and consent to be photographed by the Parramatta Bike Tours team during the hire period and/or tour

  • You consent to Parramatta Bike Tours using photographs and/or videos taken of you or your booking party during the hire period and/or tour, for commercial purposes

  • You consent to Parramatta Bike Tours posting photographs and /or videos taken of you or your booking party during the hire period and/or tour, on their various social media accounts (including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)

  • You are over the age of 18 or have expressed permission by a responsible adult over the age of 18 to be photographed by the Parramatta Bike Tours team during the hire period and/or tour, for the purpose of commercial use. 

  • If you do not wish to be photographed or are under the age of 18, you accept the responsibility of notifying the Parramatta Bike Tours team prior to the commencement of your booking. 

  • You have the right to request digital copies of any photographs or videos of you or your booking party, taken by the Parramatta Bike Tours team during the hire period and/or tour.

  • You acknowledge that you have the right to withdraw your consent to Parramatta Bike Tours' use of photographs and/or videos taken of you or your booking party during the hire period and/or tour

Rescheduling & Refunds

We'll try our best to accommodate you!

By booking a bike service, hire and/or tour, you confirm that:

  • You acknowledge that Parramatta Bike Tours does not provide refunds for change of mind

  • You can reschedule your booking for any reason, 24 hours prior to the start time of your booking

  • For extenuating circumstances, you may reschedule your booking within 24 hours prior to the start time of your booking

COVID-19

Are you feeling well?

By booking a bike service, hire and/or tour, you confirm that:

  • You have not been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 14 days

  • You do not feel unwell or have flu-like symptoms including fever, coughing, sore throat or sneezing

  • You are not self-isolating

  • If you begin to develop any of the above symptoms or test positive for COVID-19 prior to your booking date, you will notify us as soon as possible so that we can reschedule your booking

You agree that all the above information is true and are aware that providing false statements could result in consequences involving NSW Health.
